iOS6: WiFi connection always drops after lock and doesn't reconnect

Never was a problem with iOS5.

I have an iPhone 4S. Tried a hard reset but didn't solve the problem. I'm always forced to manually reconnect to the Wifi hotspot.

Anyone have a solution? Thanks!

Unless your iPhone remained connected to a power when connected to an available wi-fi network, the wi-fi network was dropped when the iPhone was locked, but it should re-connect automatically when unlocked.

If no change after a reset, try selecting Forget Network for this network when viewing the network settings for the network after re-joining followed by re-joining the network.

If no change, try resetting network settings at Settings > General > Reset. This will erase all saved wi-fi networks from the iPhone.
