No, it doesn't matter how "old" the ipsw is, but when Apple stops signing that firmware. 5.1.1 is done. But you can save iOS 6 SHSH blobs without any jailbreak required.

Well...i'downloaded an ipsw from internet matching my ipod....that doesn't seem to be easy as that....

BUT

When i bought it, it was delivered with ios5: is that possible to restore it to the factory settings ?

When you search for a video you are presented with a set of videos matching the search. You select one to watch. When that video ends you just touch the browser back button to return to the set of videos from the search. You can then select another video to view. If you have watched all of the videos shown from the search you can display more videos matching the search by touching the "Show more items" button at the bottom. No typing is required.

If you update to iOS 6 like i did you will forever wish you didn't. They should have never released it as an update. It's nothing more than a really bad beta program filled with bugs and missing apps. It's real hard to find anything good to say about iOS 6. I know because each day at least one of my family members begs me to remove the updates on there device because its crashing or going black or just plain not working the list is long. We have iPads, iTouches, iPods ect . . . They all have many problems and none had any problems before the update and all are less than a few months old.

I can only hope apple does something about this.
