I want to go back from iOS 6 to iOS 5. I hate the upgrade

i hate IOS 6 on my dial pad and i just got my 4s today im sad now 😟

there is no way to downgrad a ios system. if you dont like that there isnt a you tube app speak to google. they are the makers of that app

Not supported means that Apple does not provide a mechanism for downgrading. [Some get round this by jailbreaking but it annuls any Apple warranty that exists.]

I would love to go back to Ios5. Went up to 6 tonight. Devastated to find my You Tube wiped along with history. App to you tube ok but no link through Apple box for TV as far as I can tell. Was a joy to use through Tv. Also seem to be stuck with address bar and page ID bar even on full screen on You Tube. There was no hint of a downside to going to 6. Not good PR for future loyalty.

I wish I could go back I want the old blue dealer back and I want all these new upgrades to go away don't they still have ios5 software so we can re download ios5?

Extremely, Extremely upset and disappointed with iOS6!!! The loss of YouTube greatly diminishes the experience and overall need for the iPad!

I have downloaded several of the alternative apps and they do not come close to replicating my previous experience. I am highly recommending to friends and family not to upgrade if they wish to keep YouTube (too late for me, unfortunately hope others don't suffer the same fate).

To remove it and not provide a suitable alternative, what was Apple thinking!!!

Was looking forward to upgrading to iPad 3 this x-mas but that is no longer an option without my YouTube experience.

Extremely disappointed and would look forward to seeing the app again.

Apple was thinking "we don't own YouTube" and so to try to make our own app for it would be illegal as we no longer have Google's permission to do so."

Thankfully, Google already did think of this, and have developed their own YouTube app. The iPod touch and iPhone version is already in the App Store fore free, the iPad version is on it's way soon.

Thanks for info. Looked in app store and like you say it's there for iPhone but not iPad as yet. I'm using Safari to get on You Tube for now. There seems to be an "Add TV" option there which I haven't tried but may work.

I feel the same way. It has caused me nothing bit problems and absolutely no advantages. I am desperate. ...thanks

I think Apple should provide us with a way of downgrading back to iOS5, given the 'losses' in the new version.

I think I have the right to choose if I want to stay or not (as in this case) in the new version.

The new maps application doesn't work. I want Google Maps back!!!!

I agree. Apple should have made it clear what changes there were and provided a ' back ' button .

No, it doesn't matter how "old" the ipsw is, but when Apple stops signing that firmware. 5.1.1 is done. But you can save iOS 6 SHSH blobs without any jailbreak required.
