how do I know how many books I've sold in iBookstore
So I have published a book in the iBookstore using iAuthor...how do I know how many books I sell and how do I get paid for the books sold?

Apple pays direct to the bank account you specified when signing up, within 45 days, meaning in Oct. you'll be paid for August. See iTunes Connect FAQ for details.
iTunes Connect provides reports.
I'd recommend using one of the 3rd party report management tools such as AppViz, AppAnnie, etc., however.
