Might I also add that the battery charges up to a 100% faster.

I've just fixed the battery (and phone very slow) issue without even restering my iPhone 4.

    Reset All setting:

    Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings

    Hope this helps!

I am also having battery draining issues. I can sit her and literally watch the battery drain by a % every couple minutes. Just doing basic stuff like checking email for searching for an answer to my drainage problem. I also have a real slow connection. I will be stuck on loading forever.

    @Chillymama

Have you tried to reset the setting? It worked for me.

I did try the reset after seeing it here. I did it maybe 15 minutes ago and I have still lost about 3 or 4% just by looking for a solution. There goes another % while typing this out. It is so frustrating. It has gotten worse over the last couple days.

What has helped me and I have the recurring web bookmarks issue--is to

Full back up and restore in iTunes on my iMac.  realize this should just recreate the problem but it seems to have helped.

Turn off all but essential location services and notifications

Quit and not use Safari and not sync bookmarks thru iCloud

Turn off 3G!!  Since I'm not using Safari, I really don't miss it.  Still make calls, get emails and texts.

I upgraded my iPad 3 to iOS 6 and it was working fine so I blithely did the same with my iPhone 4.   What a huge mistake.   I'll be using Motion X in a couple of weeks so will have to turn 3G on again but the phone will be charging.  Hope it doesn't overheat!

I 'erased all content and setting' and restored through itunes. Unplugged at 8:00 this morning and at noon have over 80% of battery - maps/traffic are off, but everything else is back - business as usual.

ugh, what a mess 6.0 made

I, too, have been watching my iPhone 4S battery drain rapidly. Typically, I'll put the phone down for the night with about 45% battery power. By the time I wake up, the phone is completely dead! Doesn't this defeat the purpose of a mobile phone? My 4S will be far less useful until Apple fixes this bug.

the full erasure and restoration retained its charge for about 6.5 hours. this is still five hours shorter than usual so not good, but better than the 2.5 hours I was getting

I tried the backup and restore through iTunes also and had a hard time getting my music back! Now the battery doesn't drain unless I'm actually using the phone and still drops faster than before update. I felt lucky that it made it all the way through my work day yesterday! But I do have a new issue now that I haven't heard anyone else mention- the phone periodically freezes up which it never did before!

Apple- it's shameful that you are putting your loyal customers through this ordeal and leaving us to fend for ourselves! You are going to lose a lot of us to your competitors!

I found out that my Iphone 4 with IOS6 used 22mb of data in a very short time. I have switced of push mail and everything. The battery runs fast and many apps kill them self. I hope for a fix very soon, this phone is useless for me
