Need more info on this. this is such a broad question.. what are you trying to connect? and what message are you getting. Is the bluetooth option missing or can you just not turn it on?

    Hi Friend,

Bluetooth in iPhone is just to pair with acessories, like headsets for example. You can't pair Apple devices by Bluetooth connection. Apple devices were developed to sync by wireless or cord, not by Bluetooth connection.

If you would like to pair your Apple device with other Bluetooth devices like headsets, headphones or car kits for music or handsfree, you should check if they have the same Bluetooth technology as your Apple device.

In Apple Store has inumerous of Bluetooth apps that you can use to sync your Apple devices. But to use one of that can be more complex than just sync your devices by iCloud. For example, the app iBlueShare you must sync your device first with iTunes to save into the app what you want to sync. Then you will able to sync with another device.

    Supported Bluetooth Profiles  >  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3647

    Hope it helps

This is answer is bull.  My iphone 3gs 5, touch all pair nicely and if the nano is offering bluetooth what makes it so special that you can't pair a headset?

    Dear onelight17,

My bluetooth in my 2011 KIA SOUL does not automatically pair.

I recently upgraded my iphone 4 W/ iOS 6.1. Each time I get in the car I have to go through the pairing process W/ the instrument panel. I have to input the car's password into the phone in order for it to pair.

Previously the pairing never failed to connect automatically.

Sorry but this is the only bluetooth connection I use, I do not use a headset.

    So confused by technology )~8

    Can you please advise?

    A bit confused also!:

I used to pair my (somewhat 'antique') Nokia C1-01 with my iMac (for photo transfer) - but after I went from 'Snow Leopard' to 'Lion' it seems no longer possible:

I 'accept' connection on the phone and confirm the code, and the pairing is accomplished, but after 3 - 5 seconds the connection is lost again!

    Any suggestions??

We have 3 iphones. All upgraded to ios 6.1.4 and now none of them can connect to Bluetooth devices. Iphone 4s and two iphone 5's. Was connecting to Toyota BT car audio system, BT headseat and BT JamBox speaker. Now none will connect.

Select Bluetooth, turn on, searching devices never stops spinning. Picks up no devices even 5 inches from each other.

This *****. And by the way, did you notice that there are an unlimited number of threads like this - all with no workaround solutions from Apple. Time to move to Android/Windows phones going forward.

I am tired of going to the so-called Genius bar at the local Mall to be told that they are not aware of the issue when there are tech magazine articles written about the problem. Without a fast reply from Apple on this issue its really time to move on.
