All the manufactures are having issues with their products, the strength of each vendor is on how they react fast to fix the problems. We clearly identified two major issues with iOS6; the bluetooth and wifi connectivity. Let's see how Apple will react to fix these issues asap.

I have a BMW M5 and the bluetooth was working fine on iOS 5.1.1 and when I upgrade to iOS6, now I have problems with my BT. I am losing some calls because of the BT issues. This is consistent  issue with my iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 that I just purchased. So this is definitely an OS issue, Not a hardware issue.

I have a Ford Edge 2013, and I use(just before I upgraded to ios6) to perfectly stram music and calls with my iphone 4s. Now i cannot stream calls. On the screen of my car I can dial calls(and they get dialed on the phone too) but i cannot hear them. With music im not having any problem.

I, too, started having the same bluetooth connectivity problems when I upgraded from iOS 5 to iOS 6 on my iPhone 4; and, also now that I have an iPhone 5.  I had no issues using all of the bluetooth phone and music features in my Kia 2011 Optima until the iOS 6 upgrade.  Now, the Kia can't even see the iPhone at all or ever make a connection.  Very disappointing.  Obviously not a hardware issue, but related to iOS 6.

First time I have ever connected to Bluetooth speaker for listening pleasure, using Ipad 3rd generation. I am experiencing same problems with what I would describe as skipping every couple of minutes. Annoying. I do not believe that it has anything to do with background activity of the device. There are times when I know background activity is taking place and no skipping. Hope this gets resolved quickly.

I have the same problem with my Sony Bluetooth headphones which I received as a gift recently. I have been using them on an iPad 3rd gen with iOS 6.

My Scala Q2 motorcycle headset starts playing music automatically. i tell it to stop & it doesn't always respond. this started on IOS6.

has anyone tried removing & pairing their devices again?

I have re-paired all of my devices.

    Thanks for the re-pairing tips.

Looks like that may have solved the problem for me.

Listening to Buddy Guy via pandora right now and seems much better only one dropout while writing this and it may be because I don't spell we'll and have to delete a lot of stuff ;)

This solution is worth a try,

Had the same skipping issue with Bluetooth as everyone else. I have rolled back to IOS5 and not a single skip in music in the last 30 hours of listening. Very reluctant to install IOS6, until all you guys tell me any future updated IOS solves the multiple issues. To be honest, getting google maps and youtube back make rolling back a no-brainer.....though it is a little complex to do.

Re-pairing didn't work for my problem connecting to my 2011 Kia Optima Bluetooth.  That's the biggest problem--it WON'T pair now with iOS 6.  It worked great with iOS 5 on my iPhone 4, but once I updated the iPhone 4 to iOS 6, it quit working or pairing, even starting the process completely over from scratch.

Neither iPhone 5 nor iPad with iOS 6 installed will pair with any other bluetooth device including BMW 335i and iMac. Had no problem with iPhone 4 and iOS 5.1.1. Just spent over an hour on phone with Apple Tech Support and there is no solution. I was told to wait until there would be an update correcting the problem. I want my iOS 5.1.1 back. Tech guy said I could not go back to it. What a mess.

Reset both my iPad and my iPhone and set up as a new device. Both are still having the audio streaming issues. Restored to last backup so I didn't lose any data. Either way my devices did not stream bluetooth audio properly. Yay Apple! I don't think it is coincidence that the first major iOS release since Jobs passed has been problematic. When Steve stepped down as CEO previously Apple nearly went out of business. It took him coming back as CEO to bring Apple back from the edge and turn it into the company that it is today. Unfortunately, this is unlikely to happen again given the circumstances. At this point I think Apple's future is rather uncertain. They will have to up their game from what we are seeing here if they wish to compete.

Any way to fix this issue. Its crazy. I cant believe apple hasnt tested this iOS update before releasing it. My beats and car stereo might as well be thrown away as i cant listen to music or make calls with the cut outs, bad range and lag. this issue might be enough for me to leave apple products after 10 years. i miss steve jobs, this never happened on his watch.

I have a Nokia BH-905 set of headphones - worked wonderfully prior to iOS 6, now on both iPhone and iPad it plays for a few minutes and then dies, I am going to try it against my wife's iPhone and iPad (both still iOS 5.1.1) and see how it pans out (and will feedback after).  For the moment though I am left with a headset that is next to useless (I don't want to use wires - hence why I choose Bluetooth).  I am very frustrated, and also massively disppaointed at Apple's response to being held accountable for 3rd party devices - Bluetooth is a standard protocol that should be adhered to.
