Q: iOS 6 Bluetooth problems

So I have an iPhone 4S and IPad 2. I have updated them both to iOS 6 and am having Bluetooth problems on both devices... It connects and plays for about a minute and for some odd reason it cuts out every couple seconds/minutes. I have to keep pausing or skipping tracks in order for the music to play comfortably again. This happens to me on BOTH devices and also happens on my buddies iPhone 4S as well.

I never had any of these problems in iOS 5... So does anyone know if it could be a bug or how I can fix it?

I can confirm that the recently released ios6.1 (beta 5) works on non developer registered devices and also has cured the horribly annoying Bluetooth audio skips (I use wireless dre beats). The update should be OTA and public soon. For the time being if you want to install you need to find the .ipsw file on a torrent site and then install it through an iTunes restore while holding the option button down (Mac), shift for windows. . :)

Hope this update cures the problem that we have with the car phones that stops you answering an incoming call without a lot of playing around with the transfer buttons etc.

Apple have been totaly useless at addressing this problem or even acknowledging that it even exists.

I used to be a fan of Apple, but the way they have treated us i am not sure i will purchase any more of there products.

I would bet real money that the issues of connecting to older hands free car kits (such as the Nokia CK-15W) that I've been complaining to Apple about regularly since iOS 5 will still be broken.

And Apple will still be saying that Nokia need to update their (un-patchable) kit to fix it!

I've been checking these forums literally since the day ios6 released trying to figure out how to get my witeless beats by dre to stop pausing every freakin minute and finally this beta seems to have improved fluidity of the system as well as stability for wifi and Bluetooth connection. Bluetooth connection is much better.

I can confirm that at long last... The problem of choppy audio streaming over bluetooth was resolved in the officially released iOS 6.1 !!!

At last I can fully enjoy my entire iTunes library with my cool Parrot Zik Bluetooth headset. No need to skip the problematic tracks :-)

Anyone with an Infiniti that had their bluetooth updated, does 6.1 affect that?  Can you still answer calls?

    Thanks

At long last Apple have resolved the problem that they said did not exist, after latest download my Toyota Avensis will now let me answer incoming calls on the handsfree car phone.

Apple should have admitted they had a problem as soon as hundreds of people contacted them, said they were trying to put it right, and not upset so many people.

    WAKE UP APPLE!

Well I have just updated both my iphone 5 & 3GS. Which worked fine before ios6. With my parrot DS1120 speakers. Have been waiting and reading in the hope of a fix!!!

MASSIVE FAIL. NO DIFFERENCE. CONSTANT STUTTERING.

    APPLE SORT THIS OUT.

In fact I would say it's worse streaming music now! As soon as you get a notification or text it's all over. But now it happens faster. Can't even listen to it at all. My 3GS works / proves it's an interference issue as if I turn EVERYTHING OFF AND use as just an iPod it works almost as it used to :(. Apple sort this out.

How can you ignite this major flaw !!!

    I can't confirm this.

I just updated to 6.1 on my 3rd gen iPad and its working pretty good so far! i am streaming webradio and play it over bluetooth to my speaker.

Quite happy after so many month and even get the iPad replaced from Apple.

Thanks for that, but seriously bad customer communication from Apple!
