Q: Unable to access apple ID to update new email address/apple ID for iCloud on iPhone4...

I recently changed my email address/apple ID with the store/apps/etc, but when I go <settings>/<iCloud> on my iPhone 4, the old email/apple ID is unchangeable... only my password is alterable.

How do I access this ID bar to change/update my apple ID?

iPhone 4, iOS 6

You will need to delete the account, and add it back with the new primary email address for your AppleID.  I know it sounds awkward (well, it is), but removing it and adding back will change it over to use the new login.

I have the same probelm. If I delete my old icloud account, will I lose all my free and purchased Apps? Will I also lose all my information, pics, etc.. that I have saved on the cloud?

No, and no.  Purchases have nothing to do with iCloud.  Your purchase record is kept by Apple and you can re-download your purchases as you wish, but that has nothing at all to do with iCloud.

The content on your iPhone will need to be sync'd to the new iCloud account you will make with the new or correct AppleID, but you will loose nothing that is already on your iPhone.

I just posted my question, but I've just done the same—changed email acct, so updated my Apple ID, iTunes reads it fine etc., but my iCloud still wants to use old email/apple id... I did try to delete the iCloud acct as you mentioned, but then it tosses me the 'enter password' message for my old acct, which I know, but it reads it as an error since I no longer have that email, so I'm stuck! Any thoughts?

    Thanks!
