Since I've installed iOS 6, it seems my iMessage will not work correctly.
Any suggestions on how I could fix this?
iPod touch (4th generation), iOS 6
Try signing out of iMessage: Settings>Messages.
Then, go to the app and sign in with your Apple I.D. Does this fix it?
I've tried that and it doesn't fix it. There's no option to sign in or out of iMessage, only to turn it on or off.

What do you mean by "will not work correctly,"? Any error messages?
No error messages,
When I try to send a message, the sending bar gets filled all the way up except for a sliver of it, and then fails.
It's also not my Internet that's the problem.

I am having this same problem on my iPad ever since I did the IOS 6 update.. I have tried turning iMessage off and on, also have rebooted tons of times and still nothing.. Would appreciate some kind of help with this problem!
I was having the same problem too, then I went to settings>messages and discovered it had simply been turned off! I turned it back on and everything is fine now. Hope this helps!
An having the same problem just after updating to iOS 6
Now I can't add an email for receiving/sending I have tried to sign inn with my apple ID

I have been having problems with iMessage on my iPad since updating to iOS6 this morning. It keeps telling me that my Apple ID password is incorrect, yet it is the same password I am using HERE and it is correct!
Anyone else encountered this problem and figured out a fix?
I have rebooted the iPad, switched iMessage on and off etc. and nothing has fixed it yet.
I am also having a problem with the iMessage since the ios 6 up date. It opens for a split second then closes again.
Already:
Rebooted
Closed the app and reopened
Shut of and turned back on in settings
Have not restored.
I have the same problem it says Not Delivered under the message and FaceTime doesn't work either
Updated mine to iOS 6 just now, went to go message my girlfriend through iMessage and now they won't send. Get's stuck with ony a little bit of space left then says messaged not delivered.. Any help? Come on? I'm gonna restore it until the problem is fixed..
Restoring didn't help, also found out I can send messages to myself but nother others..
