I updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 6 with no problems. Then, I updated iPhoto. Now, when I try to sync it fails because the phone is trying to sync ALL the photos in my iPhoto library. I'm unable to select the radio button to let me sync only selected photos and events.
Anyone else finding this problem? Is there a solution?

Having the same problem with my iPad. Is there some new setting with iPhoto that I'm missing here? Is this something to do with PhotoStream?
I have the same problem with my 3GS but it arose after I updated Mountain Lion to 10.8.2 and updated the iPhoto to the latest version. My phone is still on 5.1.1. Have you found a solution?
Not yet. Some people on this thread are having luck with iPhoto Library Manager. The iPhoto update has caused an error in the iPhoto database file that the iPhone and iPad doesn't like. I didn't have any luck repairing it (yet) with iPhoto Library Manager. I've put in feedback to Apple explaining what's going on. Lots of people are having this problem so maybe they'll come up with a solution.
Thanks. Using the iPhoto Library Manager, I ran into identical problem as you did. And no, I don't, as of yet, want to restore the prior version of iPhoto. I am on hold with Apple as I type this. The first guy I spoke with hasn't been of any help. He is trying to get somebody from a senior team to figure this out. I will share any solution or worthwhile information I get.
We have a solution: If you have photos or albums or events in your iPhoto library with an ampersand -- & -- in the name or title, that causes your iPhone or iPad to fail to recognize your library. Search for and eliminate all the &'s and you'll be set. It worked for me!

It can be tricky. I had two photos with no & visible. When I exported them prior to deleting I discovered that the original file name had an &.
All is now well. Wheeee!!!
It was painful to go through 7,000 photos but it finally worked for me too. Thanks a ton.
