Sep 21, 2012 8:05 AM in response to gonshorekby planb77,Do you and your wife have the same generation Nano? Was it working previously when connected to your car's stereo system? Maybe try resetting the Nano with it still connected to the car's stereo system to see if that clears up the issue.

Jun 30, 2013 11:30 PM in response to gonshorekby Earthshakin,I have a 5th Gen. I read in another discussion that someone held the menu AND the center big button down for 6 seconds and the apple logo appears. Basically a type of reset. Well I tried it as a last resort and it worked for me. I thought My JVC was messed up, or the Cord. I plugged it in my friends truck (pioneer) and same problem. That eliminated the head unit. My headphones still worked and so did audio through the headphone 3.5mm jack to the JVC 3.5mm input. I also had all the info displayed and full controls on screen of the radio, but no sound. Like I said I am no expert but I am sharing what worked for myself and I hope it helps to anyone else who may come across this.
