SVN+SSH isn't working with Xcode 4.5

I get the error:

Authentication failed because the SSH could not connect to the repository

The username, password, server address, and path are correct.

these are my steps:

- In organizer -> Repositories: press + and choose "Add Repository..."

- fill name field

- fill location with correct addres (checked and rechecked as correct dozens of times)

(as expected "Authentication required" is shown under the location line with a little yellow circle)

- click next

- type correct username and password (checked and rechecked as correct dozens of times)

after a short time Xcode responds with this error:

Authentication failed because the SSH could not connect to the repository

Please help,

-Joshua

It turns out that there was nothing wrong with Xcode 4.5 on my machine at all...

The server I use happend to be upgraded on the same day... by me, but I forgot 😊 Anyway, aparently, installing Mountain Lion on my server removed svnserve.

Solution:

I solved the problem by installing, on the server, the "command line tools" from Xcode.
