Can't 2x speed my Podcasts in iPod w/iOs 6

I am experiencing this problem and have no solution but revolution.

I have a 3rd gen iPad and am mourning the loss of such a great, time-saving feature. Having control over the podcast playback speed allowed me to listen to so much more content during those precious moments when listening to podcasts is possible.

Variable speed podcast playback needs to come back.

Phew! Apple kept the variable speed playback feature. It's just not readily seen. I don't know if the iPod will have a similar setup, but on the iPad, you can get to the playback speed button by swiping your finger up from the bottom of the podcast album art. You should see a little, dark tab there. It reveals a screen underneath that looks like an old fashioned two-roll tape player.
