With the release of Xcode 4.5 it looks like entitlements are now checked at runtime.  So what once worked for do shell script and calling "restricted" locations of the operating system (/etc) now will prevent file access.

Does anyone know if there is an entitlement to use to gain access to files in /etc?  I've tried the

as arrays and filled them with the full path to the files and also finder and systemevents.

If I am using a do shell script in the app, anyone know how to permit calling the shell commands?  And on top of that, how to permit read access to files in /etc?
