iSync Agent & Symbian Phone

Hi All,

A friend of mine as the Siemens XS1 Symbian OS phone and we've been trying to sync the phone to his Mac Mini.

We can successfully:
- Pair the device to the Mac Mini
- Create a new device in iSync
- iSync can send the iSync Agent to the SX1 (seems to send it via messaging)

The problem comes when we try to open the message. We always get an error about the phone not having enough memory.

We've checked the phone's memory, and only 12mb of the phone's 128mb of memory is being used.

I was wondering if the iSync agent is available as a separate download anywhere so we could just send it to the phone via bluetooth file transfer.

Does anyone know if it is available separately, or have any ideas on what the memory problem may be?

We've deleted the bluetooth pairing and restarted the phone & mac three times.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

I don't really know but there are "s60vXX" files and "uiq" files so I would suspect version here is dependent on the "Series 60" version.

From the metaclasses file, I see:
<key>com.siemens.SX1</key>
<dict>
[...]
<key>InheritsFrom</key>
<array>
<string>family.com.nokia.serie60v1</string>
</array>

So I suspect SX1 is a Series 60 version 1 phone...
