Q: Why i dont have siri in my ipad2 !! And i update my ipad to ios6?

Today i ubdate my ipad2 to ios6 .. And i update it becous just i want siri and i Usefulness he did not come down!!

Why i dont have siri !!!!!

Please made unther apdate and not jut me every body Both have iPad 2 wants Siri in iPad :(

I dont want my ipad without siri :( ..

And i dont have a money to buy "the new ipad" ..

Please please apple

    Apple stated when iOS 6 was announced that Siri would not work on the iPad 1 & 2.

     

    It's probably due to the RAM and processor limitations.

     

    iPad: RAM - 256MB, Processor - 1 GHz Apple A4

    iPad 2: RAM - 512MB, Processor - 1GHz dual-core Apple A5

    iPad 3: RAM 1024MB, Processor - 1GHz dual-core Apple A5X

    Because Apple didn't make Siri available for the iPad 2. There has never been an official reason, but opinions suggest that the 1 and 2 simply cannot handle Siri or perhaps they lack some bit of hardware to make vocal recognition possible.

     

    I sympathize with your frustration, but it's been stated from the very announcement of iOS6 that Siri will ONLY be on the iPad 3 (and probably future models)

     

    We're just fellow users here. If you want to express your frustration to someone that might do something about it, you need to address it to Apple themselves. There's a nice little 'contact us' link at the bottom right of every page.
