Yes you can use your MagSafe adapter in Europe. You will need an adapter as the plug socket to the wall socket will be different. Example US to Europe Plug adapter.

Apple chargers are rated 100-240 volts at 50-60 Hz...the plug needs an adapter for the local electrical socket. In the US you can find adapters at Radio Shack and other computer/electronic suppliers. Also, many international airports in Europe have the adapters for sale for a few dollars.
