enable access to instagram

Just wanting to know how do I enable Instagram to have access to my photos. The message that comes up says I can do so in 'Privacy Setting' however I can not seem to find this. Any help will be so greatfull, thank you.

Hi Ally_B, if you go to your main menu and choose "settings" > "privacy" >"photos" and then you see the instagram icon. You only have to switch it on.

I’m also having this issue. I think it might be the new iPhone update though. That or the apps new update. It’s supposed to ask for permission not say to enable so that’s why it’s not showing under photo privacy. If anyone can figure out how to fix it tell.
