Just wanting to know how do I enable Instagram to have access to my photos. The message that comes up says I can do so in 'Privacy Setting' however I can not seem to find this. Any help will be so greatfull, thank you.

Hi Ally_B, if you go to your main menu and choose "settings" > "privacy" >"photos" and then you see the instagram icon. You only have to switch it on.

I did exactly that and it says apps that have requested permission while appear here. I got to instagram and tap enablelibrary access and it takes me to settings, instagram, and I can't allow photos there.
I’m also having this issue. I think it might be the new iPhone update though. That or the apps new update. It’s supposed to ask for permission not say to enable so that’s why it’s not showing under photo privacy. If anyone can figure out how to fix it tell.

I'm having the same problem. I could download to Instagram last week, but cannot download a photo today. I've checked Privacy and Notifications, etc. and can't find where it may have changed.
Having similar issue. When I do as instructed with the privacy setting when I get to the screen that should show me which applications I can turn on to allow access, there are no Apps there.
When I go to "photos" there aren't any apps shown there
