Blue screen

So i download the ios 6 and them it frezzes and goes to the apple sign and then the screen goes from blue to teal then to white to gray and when i put it in the computer to restore my ipod it doesnt send the signal to my computer that its in so i can restore it from my computer. 😟 some one please help me i need it for tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :'( 😢
