iPhone 4s with ios6 signal issues

Similar to me, i have also problems since ios6 signal is very low, changing from low 3g to low E, dropping etc,... it is nearly impossible to establish a data connection nor sending messages or take a call. ... i think apple will soon loose another customer...

the same problem is come up when i updated my iphone4s to ios6. I noticed at my desk the other day at work. i used to have 3-4 bars and now i only get one. I cant get on twitter or facebook at work. Itunes and app store is pretty not usebale at all. i am ******

Same problem for me. Think Apple can adjust in with an update? I mean, it worked great in iOS 5.1.1 and it´s not possiblem to downgrade the 4S! 😟

same here, had full 5 bars on ios 5 but since upgrade teeters between 2 and 1. Also sometimes unable to connect to cellular data. suck major apples!!!

I am having the same problem. I am having problems texting and receiving and making calls. My wife's phone hasn't been upgraded with the new software and it works perfectly. Hope this gets fixed soon. Very frustrating!

I'm having the same problem, normally full bars with 3G. Now 1 bar no 3G.. This is killing my battery went from 50% to 14% in 5 minutes and only sent 2 texts because Imessage is not working... We need a fix ASAP.

Did you try rebooting the phone. Power down by holding the sleep/wake button for 10 sec or so. Then power the phone back up.

I tried that. It did not work. Battery is now dead per my last post.

Rebooting the phone does nothing. My 3G signal goes away randomly for minutes at a time. Texts are sent and received hours after the fact. Apple needs to do something because I am very close to activating my Droid once again. I can't use my phone as a phone!

Even I'm having the same issue, on each time when I call, signal frequently changed and finally droped the call. Most of the time it is very noisy and not able speak or liten to the other person. It goes little better after 3 or fout times of dropping the call. Very bad experience with Apple ever...

Initialy I thought it may the Hardware issue. Now clread it is because of this unstable iOS 6.0. I hate it...

Same with my iPhone 4. I am working 3days a week from home, but since I upgraded I have no signal. Despite when I go out of my house. This is a big issue, as it worked well in the previous versions and it is only software related.

I cannot understand what happened to Apple. So many bugs in the iOS6, so many complaints. I need a working tool, if the issue will not be fixed soon, I need to change the hardware.

Hey guys I might have a solution:

I had the same problems with my 4s: weak signal strength no 3g connectivity at all! and on top of that itunes wouldn't restore my iPhone..not even iOs 6! (after checking with apple it would say that the building wasn't right for my iPhone...even though it was the same file, downloaded trough iTunes from apple, I used to update from 5.1.1 to 6)

Except for yhe iTunes problem, for which I haven't cheked if it's still there, I solved the 3G connectivity problem and the weak signal, and the battery is improved too!

That's what I did:

• I had iTunes make a backup on my computer,
• than I reseted the iPhone: settings--->reset---->delete contents and settings
• I had iTunes restore my latest backup
• after that I waited until iTunes displayed the battery fully charged
• I turned off the iPhone(while stil pluged in)
• I kept it off trough the night

And in the morning I had no more signal strenght problems or 3G connetivity issues!
