My iPad has been updated and is fine! That's is the very reason I don't know if I want to wait for a new  iPhone that is the same!

I updated both the IP4S and iPad 2 to IOS6 and neither had any problems with wifi.

In that case definitely a phone problem !!

    Go .

Hmm..my co worker has a 4s and updated on Wednesday had the wifi loss too but was only very brief. He later concluded that it was because of congestion within the network. I did doubted him that it not that and firmware related.

Watch the video. Downloading Hulu on my i4 nd i5 at the same time. Same wifi, same location. I even started the i5 first on accident. Just wanted to include to corroborate my post earlier. Lets go with the fix or explanation Apple! This makes you look terrible!

I started looking in to this as it took 24hrs to restore my iPhone 5 apps from iCloud.  I've tried with fours routers, and experienced the same packet loss issues - for example speedtest gets 6mbps down (full speed for my line) but then can't even test upstream.

Finally I've connected to an old zyxel G router, which works perfectly...  It's highly likely this is an encryption AES v TKIP problem, so off to play with settings some more...

It's just a question of hardware or software - return it to store or wait for fix!

Ha yeah so true. I made a couple of calls and was shocked to see the battery was down to 54% when my old IP4S would go most of the day before it got so low.

I was glad I did because Without wifi

I can't see Internet on this phone anyway lol!!

To be honest I seriously considered a Galaxy 3 but when I considered what I paid for on Apple apps and music and how all that would be wasted I decided on the IP5. I'm not saying I regret it yet but so far its been disappointing.

What annoys me about S3 and S2 is the amoled

Screen , it's too sharp for me no matter on

The brightness and also they have windmills

And pics of flowers and claim everything they do

Is related to nature ??? What? Phones related to

Nature ?? And pebble blue related to pebbles! Whatever

    Next lol !

Lol yup. Personally I couldn't care if it had Smurfs doing jumping Jacks, I'd be happy with a phone that works as advertised.
