Dec 18, 2012 11:15 AM in response to tobifsby hp550c,Got mine updated. So far it's working great (speedtests are flying) -- time will tell if it doesn't drop the wifi and still shows it as connected.

Dec 18, 2012 11:34 AM in response to Jameson!by Russ T,Speed tests (testmy.net & Traffic Monitor iOS App) are still showing slow speeds but download a podcast is vastly improved.

Dec 18, 2012 11:34 AM in response to tobifsby Bob Krugmire,My iTunes claims that 6.0.1 is the latest update. Why the *&^%$ can't I see this update? What is wrong with Apple these days? Nothing works. Period.

Dec 18, 2012 11:36 AM in response to Bob Krugmireby Russ T,Might be a rolling update. That's what happened with iOS 6.0.1. Not all of our devices were able to update at the same time.

Dec 18, 2012 11:37 AM in response to Bob Krugmireby CRZ24,The update is for ip5 or mini only. If you have a ip5 try OTA.

Dec 18, 2012 11:38 AM in response to CRZ24by StephPDX,This update is for iPhone 5 and iPad Mini's. Sorry

Dec 18, 2012 11:39 AM in response to CRZ24by Russ T,So unless they're going to address it in 6.1 also, this is only a half-solution (assuming it "holds") as we're having issues with an iPhone 4S and a 4th Gen iPod Touch as well.
BTW - what is everyone using to test speeds? I don't think the Speedtest.net app is reliable at all since on my home network it consistently shows 50Mbps and that's just not possible in my area. The Speedtest.net website on my iMac only shows 22Mbps.

Dec 18, 2012 11:40 AM in response to StephPDXby StephPDX,This is probably a stupid question but does downloading via OTA eat up your data? I assume so but I'm afraid to take the chance.
-
Dec 18, 2012 11:41 AM in response to StephPDXby Russ T,It will if you're unable to connect via Wi-Fi and download it that way. To make sure you don't use any data, turn of cellular data in general settings. Otherwise, yes - it will eat up your data.
