May 7, 2013 7:38 AM in response to wkholiby MrLuxuryYacht,That's what I've been saying here, too. If neighbors stick to 1,6, and 11, no issues. But when I'm on 6 and a neighbor's Auto setting decides it's a nice day for 5, it jacks everything up.

May 7, 2013 12:36 PM in response to wkholiby Tashangel31,I'm having the same issues with both iPhone 5 iOS 6.1.4 and iPad 4 iOS 6.1.3. I typically run my iPad off the 5mhz frequency on my netgear router and my IPhone on the 2.5mhz frequency, cause I'm rarely on my phone.
It is the same issue for me on both frequencys. I am the only one around me that is on 5mhz frequency. So I think that is definitely not the large problem!!!

May 7, 2013 1:19 PM in response to rgoldd2by MrLuxuryYacht,FINALLY an answer to this issue of sporatic Speedtest results. I always get it zooming to 15 or even 35 mbits, and then it pauses forever and then rests on 1 or 2 mbits.

May 7, 2013 1:23 PM in response to JanSKayby rgoldd2,Well it is the only proof I can find of there actually being an issue as I've had issues with my original and replacement iPhone 5. Apple thinks I'm crazy even though none of my other WiFi devices have issues.

May 7, 2013 3:06 PM in response to rgoldd2by Tashangel31,I'm about 99.9% sure Apple knows exactly what going on, the don't Acknowledge the problem because they probably haven't found a fix for it. They will probably acknowledge once IOS 7 has launched!
You know Apple is still celebrating there mini achievement in stumping the jailbreaking this one and only time!

May 7, 2013 4:19 PM in response to JanSKayby sbailey4,I guess the significance is the fact that they are working with Apple on an issue with the latest iOS/devices. Rather than Apples silence regarding the issue

I feel that is insignificant because we all know we've lost connections without testing for speed.

May 7, 2013 5:49 PM in response to sbailey4by JanSKay,But that just means they're blaming the slow speeds on false readings, not addressing that APPLE has a problem itself.

May 8, 2013 1:34 PM in response to tobifsby Rusty182,Guys I`'ve finally found the solution, after 8 months of trying to get Wi-Fi on my phone! I bought a samsung galaxy s4, worked on my Wi-Fi right out of the box! :) it can also do tethering so I just share my data to my iPhone 5, or glorified iPod as I like to call it now:p since the two devices are always next to each other the glorified iPhone doesn't disconnect relentlessly. It's win win!

May 10, 2013 3:42 PM in response to tobifsby Rahim215,I sent my phone in for repair but, obviously, they said there was no problem when they "diagnosed" my iPhone. It's obviously and issue and idk why they're ignoring it.
