I just bought a new 4G shuffle and I've noticed the English voice has a slower rate of speech than the examples I've heard on YouTube. The male voice is actually about 25% slower and I'm wondering if anyone else is having this problem. Can anyone offer a fix? I'm tempted to just return it and try another unit.

I would first work through the usual 5 R's of troubleshooting to rule out any sort of possibility of a software/glitch or corrupted data.

Okay- found out how to fix it. Already listed within the community but not directly referenced to the shuffle 4G. Basically go into the speech control panel on your mac and speed it up. Next time you sync your shuffle the voiceover that's generated is faster.
