I purchased a new MacBook Pro that came with Mountain Lion. Am I eligible for a free upgrade to Mountain Lion on my 2010 iMac?

I am told I only need to purchase one copy of Mountain Lion and I can upgrade all my existing Macs with this. Mountain Lion came on my new computer so technically I purchased it. However, when I log into my App Store it is not listed so I can't figure out how to share it with my 2010 iMac that is running Lion. Am I not eligible?

No. Only users who separately purchased Mountain Lion from the App Store itself, originally, qualify to download additional copies of it. Just an Apple policy.

Hope this helps 🙂
