My old iTunes computer is dead, but all my music is still on one of the first versions of the IPod. Can I transfer my music library to my iPad. I believe my iPad is the first one that was released.

Since my music was purchased on CDs, how can I transfer these? I only see solutions for purchased music from iTunes. I spent a lot of money on my music and my devices, so I do not want to purchase additional hardware or programs to transfer this. What is a simple solution to simply using my stuff?

Is there any of the programs in the user tip to recover "unpurchased" itunes music(my personal cds) that are highly recommended? i have been struggling with this for 3years and have finally found answers here but b4 i buy one of these programs i just want to make sure i get a credible one.
