how can i add my new songs in my ipod???

i switched to manually managed songs coz i lost all my music ,and now i can t add new songs on my ipod ,i ve searched in support but they don t explain it very well!!! can somebody help me please??? how can i drag my songs to my ipod??? thank u very much !

Drag songs or playlists to the iPod icon in the Source pane (Sorgente).
When you drag the songs or playlists, you will see a green + sign. Then release the mouse button.
