iPhone 5 click when pressing screen

Same happen with me it's being 4 day they are telling me it's not major Issues i have some click sound on my bottom panel of my phone to which I visited authorities service center and they denied to take my device and told me to call apple support after that apple support Said it's not major issues and last 4 days they are calling me and telling not major Issues or remove extended warranty all that stuff for that I uploaded Video of my problem and apple support told me that their manager will help but now they say we only help with software issues you can visite othere service centre

Take it back. Mine does not do that.

I'm getting the click when I press on both bottom corners of the screen, I can feel it as it clicks down too.

I don't want to deal with the hassle of waiting returning it and getting another one either but it's been bugging me so much since I discovered it, I know I can't live with it like this.

I purhased mine through the Apple online store.. I know I can't return it to an Apple store and have to do it online, but should I visit a store first and see what they say? Or will they just tell me to lodge something online?

Same problem. Lower left and lower right corners click when pressed.

This is now considered more or less normal. I wouldn't keep pressing on it. Maybe it will change when the glue cures (I keep assuming they used glue). It's a natural assumption.

Good tip. If it is a glue problem, returning it now would risk just getting another phone with a glue problem. It would be better to wait until the issue is examined more closely at the factory and a solution is found.

I would argue differently. Having paid $999 for this phone outright, I would expect the screen not to be loose.

Given that the serial number indicates this phone was made in mid August, I would believe that the glue has well and truly set by now and set without securing the screen down properly.

I took my phone to the Genius Bar yesterday, showed them the problem, and was given a new phone within seconds. The screen on the new phone does not move or make clicking sounds. It is fixed solidly to the frame of the phone.

If you have this problem with your phone, return it.

Did you buy it at the apple store to begin with? I bought mine at WalMart and I am experiencing this issue.

Yes, bought at Apple Store. And had Apple Care for iPhone as well.

I had my Genius Bar appointment yesterday too.

I bought mine from the apple online store, spoke to the Apple guy on the phone who said to go to my local store.

The Genius Bar guy told me I had to return it online since I bought it online, but I told him I tried and had been told to do it in store. At that point he said okay and got me a new one.

This new one doesn't have the same issue and I'm happy with it.

Go get it replaced if you have this same problem. Don't just put up with it, especially not for how much these devices cost.

I would suggest going to Apple.

A work colleague of mine bought his phone from a telco here in Aus, took it to Apple and they replaced his no questions asked.

Neither if us bought the Apple Care either, since the phone is still within the 1 year complimentary Apple Care period.
