iPad not turning on

So I went to bed last night and had my iPad running a "white noise" app to help me sleep. I have used this app many times but last night was the first night using it with the new iOS6. When I woke up this morning my iPad was turned off. Tried to turn it on -Nothing. Thought maybe battery dead-plugged it in, nothing. What the heck Apple?

Apple are not here, just fellow users. Assuming that the battery isn't empty (and it can take up to 15 minutes of charging before it will respond), then have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
