Is anyone else having issues with push email on the new iPhone 5?

My new iPhone 5 is connected to our Exchange acccount. Push email does not seem to be working on it. I have to go into the email app and refresh in order to receive new emails. Before on mi 4S it worked flawlessly. I've deleted my exchange account, re-added it, disabled LTE, etc... Seems like push is not working at all I have to manually update it.

Solved my issue....

Since verizon already comes with some preset settings... I went ahead and tried deleting and readding exchange account... to no avail.

so what I did was fully reset the phone to factory settings. Restored from iCloud.

and voila. seems to be working like a champ.

I have had issues before if I receive a iPhone from verizon (my company has around 250 lines) and if I do a full reset like this it tends to resolve them.

Good luck!!

Tried resetting to factory settings...restored from icloud but no luck. I still have to go into the mail app in order to receive the latest mail in my inbox. I'll try resetting to factory again and see what happens. I even tried resetting to factory, this time not restoring from icloud but setting it up as a new phone and still no luck.

try this:

1. Go to Mail, Contacts, and Calendar. Click "Fetch New Data". Make sure push is on.

2. Go back to Mail, Contact, and Calendar. Click on your exchange account. Click on "Days to Sync". Even if it is set to what you want this on, chance it to a different setting (i.e. 1 week). You can change this back later, but this is the only way to fix it.

3. Go back to Mail COntact and Calendar. Click on "Show". No matter what this setting is on, change it to a different setting. (i.e. 100 recent messages).

4. Reboot your iPhone 5

5. Exchange PUSH will be working now.

Hi Ryan,

I saw your recommendations on another post from Superclay. Trust me buddy, I've tried everything. I even got a new iphone 5 from the apple store today....nothing, still the same thing. Works for like 5-10 minutes then just stops. I just went back to my 4S which works perfectly. Guess I'll have to wait until Apple comes out with a fix...this is BS.

Is anyone else having issues with push email on the new iPhone 5?
