So we all know apple maps is an epic fail, but I've not seen anyone comment on the UI as such. I really don't like the look of the music player anymore, looks very bland all in grey and looks very old hat, like windows mobile 6 or something. Also I don't like the different colour bars and don't like the look of the new phone keypad either.
Does anyone else feel the same?

There are a lot of threads about the keypad - I could use the other one without glasses - not any more! I have just taken the sim card out of my iPhone 4, adapted it and I am now using a 3GS instead! I miss dictation and Siri but not enough to stop me deciding to sell the 4S - it is not worth the hassle after the upgrade to iOS6!
iOS5 forever!
I'm 50 and I find the new dialer keyboard much easier to read. The Music app is much cleaner looking. All in all, I'm very pleased with it.
Do you wear glasses, Meg? The 3 people in this famil;y who do were able to read the old keypad and npt the new! The music app ios fine - just the keypad and maps are driving me bonkers!

I wear glasses to and have had no issues with the keypad. The only thing I'm not fully in love with is the App Store. While it's visually prettier to see each app, it was simpler to just see a list of apps all on one page. But, it's a minor nit. Otherwise, I have no real issues with iOS 6.
me ... music player ui changed badly compare to before one...
"Shuffle" is not working once after if you set "Repeat" to 1 song ... now you have to manually change 1 by 1 for next song ... suck!
Ugly? It's much better than ios5, stupid glossy stuff everywhere. Love the shades of gray. Just beautiful.
Not only is iOS 6 not as visually stimulating as it used to be, it's also lost out on a lot of functions that were essential to those with an iPhone. For instance, most of us with an iPhone are having to restore our phones to factory settings as the Call Waiting function has been turned off.
I understand that some people like things and some people don't, but why can't Apple at least give us options?
I find iOS 7 ugly... Looking back, iOS 6 looked great compared to iOS 7. I wish Apple would give iOS 6 look back in its UI.
