son updated his itouch to ios 6 and now it will not turn on, shows that it needs to be charged even though it has been plugged in for quite a while and goes to a purple screen from the apple logo. Help please
iPod touch, iOS 6, cannot turn on
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
