I have the same problem. Siri worked before on my 4s, but now the purple line just spins around forever and it never does anything )-: hope it gets fixes. I've heard Siri will work now in Europe and I'd like to start using her.
The servers are being hammered right now with iOS 6 updates and iPhone 5 activations. Just be patient
Today is the launch day for the iPhone 5. I suspect there are millions and millions of people all trying Siri at the same time. Patience might be the best thing for today.
Not only that, but I lost my you tube app that came with iPad. Don't take this lightly, I had been saving video for my anatomy class, and now they are all GONE! How can I get it back?
You can download the free You Tube app in the App Store. The included app in the prior iOS is gone. I would assume that saving videos are done as a playlist as part of your You Tube account correct? If so, it would still be able to be accessed via the stand alone You Tube App.
As of now, I am unable to find a You Tube app available in Apple apps. Only limited apps showing "best of" or other company downloads.
Just did a search in the App Store for You Tube. Brought me right to the App. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/youtube/id544007664?mt=8 try that link.
The YouTube app isn't available for iPads
You know what? I didn't read close enough that he mentioned iPad, since I was in the iPhone forum. My apologies.
it took me a double-take to see it too, it's all good. I didn't even know that was true until today... it's pretty odd.
So, why would it come as a free app WITH iPad? Does that make sense?
It no longer is attached or included with the iOS because Google and Apple did not agree to do so
Their decission certainly messes up someone like me that had saved you tube videos related to school, and now that it is time to study for mid-terms, all my study material is gone.
I can definitely see how that would be frustrating
You should be able to access You Tube via Safari. Also, if you were saving videos, that should be through your account with You Tube and should be able to access that via Safari as well. I know it is not as easy as the app was, but it should be a workaround.
