IOS 6 bluetooth issues - micro cuts on music

After upgrade the iphone 4S with IOS 6, there are micro cuts on bluetooth trasmitted music, every 1 or 2 minutes.

The music receiver is a belkin.

Have also to report a worsening in music quality after upgrade.

Hope in a faster solution.

No hardware or sofware setup are possible.

So the only way is a IOS upgrade.

I have the same problem! It all started after I upgraded to iOS 6. The music, specially at the beginning of each song; lags! And if that wasn't annoying enough, ocasionally the sounds just stops with NO warning! My headphones do not turn off, the music doesn't pause, there's no disconnection.

I tried installing a new copy of iOS 6 and unpairing and re-pairing my headphones. **** I even tried the basics you know, checking the batteries of my headphones but no, no use.

I have the iPhone 4S and I am using the Beats by Dr. Dre wireless.

I'm going to be contacting apple I regards to this.

Try resetting network settings and do a hard reset. Hard reset involves holding Sleep/Wake and Home buttons till Apple logo appears, let buttons go.

I called AppleCare, they made me an appointment in my nearest Apple Store with a genious.

They asked me if I had reset it,

Then they asked me when I had gotten the phone,

Then they asked me if when I reset it, I restored from a backup; I said never!

The guy called a "Senior Genious" or something.....

Then they made me an appointment for my nearest apple store genious because it seems to be a hardware problem. They might just swap the iPhone for another one, I am amused that apparently no-one else is having the same problem!

That's not quite right.... Right? People call AppleCare now! Their # is 1 (866) 242-2674, at least in the United States.

I'll let you know how it went :)

I've joined a few conversations about this - if only in the hope that someone at Apple will get something done - and soon. Like Yobyz - my issue is with Dre Beats wireless headphones - bought a mere week before the ios 6 upgrade. Blindly refusing to accept it is an issue with ios 6, Apple have suggested all sorts of things - none of which have worked. I don't know if anyone else has experimented as much as I have - but the skips are predictable by track - by the second in fact, which is in itself odd and are definitely ios 6/Bluetooth related - I can assure ALL at Apple that my frustration has led me down every avenue to fix this and this is the only possible conclusion. Meanwhile, £250 worth of (once) superb headphones I saved hard to afford are currently gathering dust while I await action on this problem from Apple - NOW would be good - please.

Similar with my iPhone 4 after upgrade to iOS 6. No audio drops but audio quality decreased significantly during BT streaming in my car (using VW RNS-315 with BT option). Interestingly for me it seems that especially the right channel seems to be slightly distorted, whereas the left channel still seems to be fine. I can remember similar problems from a very previous version of iOS but at least with iOS 5 everything was fine...

I have the same problems as chrisfromhoven with my iPhone 4S and my Beats Wirless Headphones 😟

A good thread for this issue is also here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4318307?start=0&tstart=0

I contacted the Apple Support today and got the same answers as Yobyz (Reset, Restore, Apple Store).

Not very helpful to swap my iPhone, when the problem comes from the update to iOS 6 😮

What a mess!
