Sep 21, 2012 10:23 AM in response to MattFellowsby Dah•veed,The Apple Support Communities are an international user to user technical support forum. As a man from Mexico, Spanish is my native tongue. I do not speak English very well, however, I do write in English with the aid of the Mac OS X spelling and grammar checks. I also live in a culture perhaps very very different from your own. When offering advice in the ASC, my comments are not meant to be anything more than helpful and certainly not to be taken as insults.
Siri is beta software and service. There are millions of folks who just got Siri in the last few days, millions of folks with the new service as of iOS 6 on their iPad 3rd G and today millions of new iPhone 5 users. Maybe the Siri servers are overwhelmed.

Sep 21, 2012 11:42 AM in response to MattFellowsby Jone1981,Hey guys! I got EXACTLY the same problem!!! I got my iPhone 5 today, and I did all of the settings correctly and I checked that I turned the Siri on already, but when I spoke to him (The french version is a masculin voice), it took quite long time to tell me that 'Siri is currently unavailable, please try on later!'. The problem lasts already for two hours!!!
