i cant get it to work..

You need to have it turned on - then have your phone on locked. Then it will work.

i tried that but still no luck... a friend just gave me a suggestion which did work and that was to create another "contact group" and use this group instead of "favorites"....this worked..

This is not working correctly for me either. When I have it set to allow favorites, favorites do NOT ring. Had to switch the setting to allow everyone. Going to try the new contact group solution to see if that works.

I had the same problem. It seems to work after setting it to allow calls from no-one, then changing it back to favorites after a few seconds.
