No IP address assigned after upgrading to 10.8.2

I ran the update this morning and after the system rebooted it failed to get an IP address. It is only assigning a 169.xx.xx.xx "self-assigned" IP. I have other devices connected to my router so I know it is not the issue, but despite that i have reset the router twice to no avail. I have tried both wired and wireless connection on the iMac and still nothing. It briefly connected at one point getting a 192.xx.xx.xx IP but showed up as Non-DHCP assigned.

Anyone have any ideas on how to correct or to roll back the update? I don't see how I am able to do that.

Thanks

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.2)
