Turn OFF your extensions then quit and relaunch Safari to test.
thanks for the hint, but it does not help 😢
I turned off all extensions, uninstalled FLASH and reinstall the latest version. The Problem remains!
Please try this one your Mac:

Then click the full screen button! Does it work on your Mac?
Having the same problem with Safari 6.0.2 I came across this discussion. Has this been solved by now and how. Thanks for your help.
Not for me...
Try Firefox 19
It works with Firefox 19, but not with Safari 6.0.2 or Chrome 24
I changed from PC to Mac because I had too many programms for all sort of things, including Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, and I wanted to have one system that works for me and me for the system that eventually became slower and slower. Therefore starting the same kind of behaviour (ie. getting this and that to bypass problems) is no longer my preferred option. For the time being I can live with the Safari problem, hoping that Apple at one point has a fix for this.
Your proposal is very much appreciated. Thanks.
I am having a similar issue. Does anyone have a fix for this? Thanks in advance!
The only fix so far is to use FireFox 19...
Does this issue happen for you on any given website or just some?
Had the same issue and found sth that worked for me on chrome.
It seems like google has developed its own flash player (pepper flash) rather then using the original adobe one. Disabling the pepper flash player and installing/enabling the adobe one seems to fix the issue.
Since the issue occured to me on all browsers except opera before there might be a similar fix for Safari.
heres where i found this and how to fix it:
