Anyone else having keyboard lockups on iOS 6 with MDM?

I have contacted McAfee and Apple Support--they just point fingers at each other.

We use McAfee EMM (Enterprise Mobility Management) 10.1.3 (patch 3) and have seen this issue on iPad 2, iPad 3, and iPhone 4S.

EMM is an Apple approved MDM (Mobile Device Management) solution.

Since the iOS6 upgrade...

On the unlock screen (when you have been away from the device for a while and need to enter your passcode):

Occasionally (not every time) you can 'slide to unlock' but then cannot type your passcode.

The on screen keyboard is unresponsive.

Our workaround is to hold down the power button until you get the 'slide to power off' prompt...

...then tap cancel--you don't actually have to power off. Then the keyboard works again.

We have tried this with Bluetooth turned off as well--to make sure it wasn't trying to pick up an external keyboard.

I cannot find anyone on Google, Apple, or McAfee sites that is having the same issue.

That tends to make me think it could be a combination of iOS6 and EMM 10.1.3 (patch 3).

If everyone with iOS6 was seeing this, I think it would be all over the tech news sites.

If everyone with EMM was seeing this, it would be all over McAfee's community boards.
