Apple TV repeatedly asks for password to play iTunes Store rentals or purchases

Since ios 6 both of my newest generation APPLE Tv's keep asking for my itunes password everything I go to play purchased content... I select the SAVE PASSWORD box, but no luck... both are updated to the current ios? Anyone else experiencing this glitch?
