Finder is really slow in 10.8.2

I updated to 10.8.2 and now whenever I'm about 5 directories deep in Finder it takes 2 to 3 seconds to display the contents of the folder. What gives?

Disk Utility doesn't report any problems after scanning the disk. I had no issues prior to the upgrade.

This is a late-2011 iMac with 32GB ram. I notice the issue on the 2nd disk, which is a 2GB hard drive.

I also had issues with the video being corrupted but resetting the SMC seems

Finder preferences may be corrupt.

Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder

Type or copy/paste: ~/Library/Preferences

Click Go then move the com.apple.finder.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Trash.

Restart your Mac.

Thanks. I think that fixed it.

I noticed in Console that I'm getting hundreds (litterally) of this message. I didn't notice this happening earlier when I was investigating (prior to deleting com.apple.finder.plist):

9/21/12 3:05:34.882 PM Finder[288]: CFPropertyListCreateFromXMLData(): Old-style plist parser: missing semicolon in dictionary on line 1. Parsing will be abandoned. Break on _CFPropertyListMissingSemicolon to debug.

How can I determine which plist it's having trouble with?
