Sure. I would start by taking a look at this Apple Support article which provides details on the types of Wi-Fi interference. Typical interference can be other Wi-Fi operating nearby, microwave ovens, baby monitors or any other types of electronics that transmit on either the 2.4 or 5 GHz radio band.


Also bandwidth performance decreases with range. Please check out the following AirPort User Tip for help on finding the optimum placement for your base station.
