Does anyone else's iPhone 5 'creak' if you hold it from/pinch the lower-right corner?

Yes, lower left louder than lower right corner.

I would suggest not doing that. If the glue really does need to cure (assuming they used it), your going to buy yourself issues.

For what it's worth, mine doesn't creak.

Keep in mind you have to press pretty firmly at the corners, but they all do it. I've been able to replicate it on a few. If you haven't tried it, don't.

I'm telling you, I'm pinching the lower left/right corner as hard as I feel comfortable doing it, and it's completely solid and silent.

I'm not pressing hard at all. The two corners click loudly when pressed gently. This is not normal.

I think people describe it differently. Some call it a pop, while others call it a creak. What I noticed personally was that it was easy to feel as you pressed down. You can feel the glass rubbing against the aluminum body as you press down.

Yes, there is movement. The screen dips down into the aluminum frame when pressed.

Read this everyone...... I'm not pinching *hard* or using great force. FAR from it. We are talking touch type interactions here with regard to pressures applied.

Using a pinching motion at 9 o'clock on the phone (center, left edge) it's most easy to identify. If I hold the phone by the chassis edges and press on the center, left edge of the display I get a disconcerting pop or creaking sound. It seems as though the display was not glued flush in this area.

Yes it's a sign of poor assembly and I will be returning this unit for a replacement. Needless to say my 5 does not do this and no amount of "convincing" will get me to believe this is anything but poor assembly. Odd given how identical the 5s is to the 5 you would think the process would be identical.

I have the same issue when I press the upper right corner of my iPhone 5s

My iPhone 5c, which is just 5 weeks old, has started doing this. Sometimes when I pick it up, I notice that the glass in the bottom-left corner moves in a bit, and makes a faint clicking sound. The glass seems to be moving slightly INTO the plastic frame.

Seeing how I just spent £549.00 on this iPhone 5c, and it's still brand new, I'm not happy.
