I cannot get my my ipad to recognise the Camera connection kit :-( HELP!

Hi. I bought a IPAD Camera Connection Kit from Apple Retail Store, pluged in my MicroSD (Adaptor) into the kit and insert to ipad, but NOTHING shows up. Tried this for 45mins already. My Camera pane doesn't show any "import", neither does my Photo pane 😟

Then tried the USB connector too, it keeps saying "The devices uses too much power".

But when I plug the USB or MicroSD into my computer, it both reads well.

HELP!
