How do I provide feedback to Apple about errors in the Maps data in my town?

You can actually leave the comment in the Maps application. Drop a pin or choose an already marked address and in the location information window there are options such as add to contacts. one of the options is Report a Problem
Not a good idea. There is no facitly in "feedback" for data errors.
The Maps application, iOS and Mac, has "Report a Problem" feature where you can specify the exact error with the POI (point of interest).
Maybe if more people reported errors though the proper tools the errors would get fixed. Its a big company afterall.
