Jan 28, 2013 6:51 PM in response to PNuttsby Jack406,We tried it. It doesn't work! At least not with iPhone 5 and 2012 Honda CR-V. Blue tooth works great with an iPhone 4. Wish we had never "upgraded?" to an iPhone 5.

Jan 28, 2013 8:15 PM in response to GracieJaneby rogerfrombowling green,A friend said, "The new iPhone uses Bluetooth 4.0. Your devices use Bluetooth 3.0. Old technology." Any truth? Could it be that he's right, and older devices (car stereos and such) need to update?

Jan 29, 2013 5:23 AM in response to praveenkayby bose901,I've just bought a bluetooth CSR 4.0 dongle and I'm using Windows XP to try to connect to my Iphone 5 via bluetooth. My PC can see my Iphone but when I try to pair it, the Iphone just says that it can't be done.. I can connect my PC to a bluetooth loudspeaker I have but not to the Iphone 5. I've tried on my notebook too (64 bit Windows 7) but it didn't work there either..
I have no idea of what's going on..
Any clues??
Thanks!

Jan 29, 2013 6:22 AM in response to bose901by supersparksteve,Well 6.1 is worse, my bluetooth connection on my Nissan Pathfinder used to need pairing almost every time I got in the vehicle, and it still does, however it's now dropping the connection when driving which it did not do before.
This is a step backwards for me, if only I had kept my 4 and not even botherd with a 5.
Apple will start to lose customers this year as the other phones offer more reliability.

Jan 29, 2013 3:46 PM in response to GracieJaneby deggie,Have you checked with your Nissan dealer to see if they have their update available yet? If you read back in this thread on of the participants contacted Nissan US and was told they were aware of the problem and would have an update available.

Jan 29, 2013 3:49 PM in response to deggieby GracieJane,Yes I have checked.....Nissan says it's ready the dealers apparently
know nothing about it. Sigh
