I have a different game center ID for my son. He just found out this week that game center requires to sign in again. But he forgot his password. I try to reset the password but the link leads me to reset my Apple ID password. Guys, how can I revive my son's game center ID as there are several games he loves to play. A complete reset will lost all his credits accumulated. Thank you so much in advance.

Had this same problem, my son created the Game Center ID and forgot the password. Seems you can create an account without an email. Is he one of your friends in Game Center? If so look in your account to see if his name is in quotes. If it is than that is his Apple ID. Then go to reset password for Apple ID, type in the Game Center name and it should ask you to confirm the birthday and a security question. This worked for me after, hope it solves for you
it tried to reset my apple id password, not game center... I found a similar thread (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3599536?start=0&tstart=0), and no reply on that one. I guess it is not possbile to retreive game center password?
I'm not sure my self either, specially like that one in the link. i let my younger brother use my gamecenter bc i use the same games he does and a few games i dont use. and since he's artistick alittle and doesnt care much and neither do i, i dont c why not he uses my gamecenter id.
but yes, i do aggree, there should be some kind of account management reset pswd thingy about this.
idk even how to make another account of a different ID on the same apple account lie that sort of thing.
all ino that gamecenter is still improving on whatevr there doing.
Thanks. I figured that out late last night. I went to recover password page, input my son's game center id, and it started a string of question/input that necessary to reset the password. Unfortunately, my son could not answer one of the security question (cannot blame a young kid as it had been quite a while), and now the account is locked. I'm contacting apple service right now and see. I'll keep updating this thread if anything can be done through the conversation.

Another thing is that the Game Center now is asking sign in with apple id, not nickname. once I signed in, it becomes my game. very frustrating.
sign out of itunes, goto gamecenter and "forgot my password" then it should lead u to reset his pswd to his provided email.

Indeed... I can create additional game center account. But guess what, I have no way to delete them. Funny,eh.
