When I enter my password in the app store, lines begin to flicker across rows of the keyboard.
Here is an example. This has happened on my last two visits to the app store. The first two or three times there was no problem. This is the only context in which I observe the flickering keyboard. Is anyone else having this issue?

I've noticed the same thing a few times when entering my password in the App Store. Also, one time when I opened a folder there appeared to be several lines on the screen that didn't get redrawn correctly. This lead to a similar looking sort of glitch.
I have the same issue. I have seen it 2 times now. It only happens in the app store as well. The first time was on the left side of the keyboard and minor. The second time lasted at least twice as long and was much worse covering a larger area and extending across most of the keyboard.

Yeah I have exactly the same issue. I noticed it last night and this morning when entering my password into the App Store. It seems to be when the alert box is on the screen?
I'm concerned this may not be a software fix, but may require a new phone.
Yes, I have the same problem too, also being kind of "widely" reported in Japan.
It looks like a hardware issue but it's weired because almost users encounter this problem when they typing their password in App store.
Hope Apple would resolve this soon by some software update.

I put a call in to Apple Support this morning and they said it was "strange" and that they were reporting it to be investigated further. I can't see this being a major issue, Apple will probably release a hot fix at some point.
It is very strange, it only happens when im entering my password in the app store.
I have the same issue with my iPhone 5 as well. I see flickering lines when I key in my password in app store.
I got a replacement phone today at the genius bar. I showed a video of the issue, and was given a new phone w/o being hassled. I see no flickering lines on the new phone after several visits to the app store.
I also have this problem. Only in the App Store login does the keyboard flicker.
My replacement phone has the same problem now. I guess it is software related.
Observed the same issue encouraged to hear I'm not the only one with this issue.
Count me in, I've also got this. But if its any consolidation, I remember this bug happening when iOS 4 was released, the same strange lines appearing, but this time located at the top left messing up the carrier name. They patched it up fairly quickly.
the 2nd time it appeared, but this time i caught it at the search screen, after i swiched the keyboard from Emoji to Japanese, the strange lines appeard.
Hope it is a software issue...
Having the same issue myself. Only during App Store password entry.
Well if your in the UK like me, I can't go get a replacement as they are all sold out. I think it would be incredibly unlucky for there to be a dodgy batch of iPhones.
Surely everyone must be having this problem, maybe they just aren't reporting it on here.
Still no word from Apple on this though, I reported it yesterday so it might take a little while.
