Q: Anyone else have flickering/ghosting keyboard on iphone 5?

same issue, app store password.

Hey, just to let you all know, I have the same problem, flickering lines on App Store password keyboard. Thinking about it logically, it has to be a software issue, it's localised within the software (I.e. App Store login screen) if it was hardware it would happen everywhere. How would the screen know you we're typing your password into the App Store? Anyone else agree?

On the upside, love the iPhone 5, it's my first iphone and couldn't be happier!:)

It happened to me once as well. I'm relieved to know its not just me.

My first iPhone and yes I'm having the same problem. Flickering lines when entering password into Apple Store. Will be calling Apple although it doesn't sound like there's anything they can really do to help over the phone at this time. Ugh. Hope they fix it quick.

I agree, but I also experienced it several times on the search screen's keyboard.

I think the keyword is "keyboard", the possiblity of being a software issue is very high.

I've also experienced this issue although it has been rare for me. I'm holding out for a software fix.

Experiencing the same issue. Horizontal lines on the bottom left corner of the keyboard. This has happened twice and both times it appeared when being prompted for my password in the App Store.

I haven't seen the problem appear anywhere else.

I am also getting this issue in the App Store, but have also noticed when entering Wi-Fi passwords.

I was about to add this to my own report above - just had the same issue on a wifi password keyboard. So not limited to App Store but to special keyboard for entering passwords wherever it appears, it seems.

Same here!  Glad to see I'm not the only one.

My phone and wife's phone both have this same glitch happening.  It only happens when the keyboard is black. Like when entering apple password.

Been having the same issue with my white 32g iphoen ordered from Apple shop in Australia.  Only during entering password in App store, so far.

I hope people are calling into Apple so they create a ticket about this issue. You wouldn't believe how many issues aren't in their system because people just post about them but don't follow up with Apple.

I've had it on the black AND blue App Store keyboard so don't think it's localised to the black app keyboard. So it seems to be App store keyboards, that just reassures me it's a software issue. I think the more serious screen issues on the net are separate from ours. Even if it is hardware, which I'm sure it's not, I heard that screens can be replaced in store, which is good news. Anyone know the right number to call to get it on apples radar like psychor suggested?
